Please note that I, Visual Resources Librarian Katherine Hooker, will be out on Maternity Leave at the beginning of the Fall 2011 semester. I hope to be back working part time, i.e. 20 hours a week around Labor Day. I will return full time sometime in mid November.
Those of you outside of the Art and Art History department may have found out about the Visual Resources Collection though the Artstor advertisement I distributed at the Fall Faculty conference.
Images can be used to enhance teaching in many different disciplines. Watch this space for a list of unique Artstor collections that may apply to your field of study and teaching. The image selection is consistently growing and diversifying, so if you don't find what you want this semester, try again the next.
