The opening reception will be today from 4-6PM.

Fulbright Workshop Part 2

Part 2 of Dr. Hajovsky's helpful and informative workshop guiding students through the process of applying for a Fulbright Grant will occur today, Thursday March 25, at 5:30 in the art history lecture room. Today's area of focus will be evaluating rough drafts of student grant proposals. Scroll down a few posts for full details on application deadlines and guidelines.

Important Meeting Friday March 26

Students, don't forget to attend the department meetings this Friday at 3pm:

"Don't forget!

ALL DEPARTMENTS will be hosting Departmental Meetings Friday, March 26, at 3p. See below for locations. At these meetings, faculty from every department and program will highlight changes coming for 2010-2011, as well as help students decide whether or not switching to the new Catalog will be of benefit.

You will still meet with your academic advisor in preparation for registration, but these meetings offer additional information for you as you make your plans for summer and fall."

Art History will be in FAC 235, and Studio Art in FAC 166.

Back from Conference

I'm back from the Visual Resources Association annual conference in Atlanta. I found the programming particularly relevant and useful this year and my brain is crammed full of new ideas and things to research and pursue. I went to an entire session just on blogs, and found I wasn't the only one whose blog had stagnated from being too busy and too concerned that posts be perfect before getting published. I plan to revitalize this blog and make use of the new tabs feature to help various user groups get the information they need most.

I've also started to redesign the site a bit so that it's not using the exact same template as everyone else, complete with homemade logo. Look for more changes (hopefully improvements) soon!
