The trip will visit two missions, San Jose and Conception.

Particiapants will need to bring their own sack lunch to enjoy on site.
Then, the tour will continue to San Antonio Museum of Art, to see the groundbreaking exhibit The Arts of the Missions of Northern New Spain: 1600-1821.
There will be time also to see some of the museum's other impressive holdings; I particularly like the Asian galleries and the Roman sculpture collection. As an added bonus, the excellent movie 'The Mission' will be played on the bus. Here's the trailer:
The tour departs from the FAB parking lot- meet at 9am sharp- and should return by 6:30pm. There is no cost to participants except for providing one's own sack lunch. Special thanks goes to the Dean of Fine Arts for securing museum admittance fees.
Seats are still available but are starting to go fast. To sign up, email me at hookerk@southwestern.edu or call x1024, or drop by my office on the third floor of FAB. All I need is you name and a cell phone number.
