Harlem Renaissance video

Here's a recent summer project- another iMovie compilation, with art and photos from the Harlem Renaissance. It's set to a very upbeat piece by Duke Ellington from 1927. This was a fun one to do as many of the paintings are so vibrant and depict fun-looking social events. Hopefully this can be utilized as a mood-setter for the relevant lecture in the course 'Modernism and Modernity', which was just offered in the spring.

I especially love the pictures of the dancers in the Savoy Ballroom- they're having so much fun!
